Most people use the AI image generator with the default settings. That works. But the quality, aspect ratio, and format controls exist for a reason — and using them right is the difference between an image you can actually use and one you cannot.
Low (1 credit): Fastest, cheapest. Good for quick drafts and brainstorming. Not for final output.
Medium (2 credits): The sweet spot. More inference steps, better detail, still fast. Default to this.
High (3 credits): Maximum detail. Use for final deliverables and print-quality images.
1:1 for Instagram and profile pics. 3:2 for blog headers and YouTube thumbnails. 2:3 for phone wallpapers and Pinterest.
PNG: Lossless, large, supports transparency. JPEG: Compressed, universal. WebP: Modern, smallest file, best for web.
Generate multiple variations from one prompt. 3-4 for creative work, 1-2 when you know what you want.
