The four parts of a good prompt

Subject: What is in the image? Be specific. Instead of "a dog," try "a golden retriever puppy sitting on a wooden dock."

Style: What should it look like? Add keywords like "photorealistic," "oil painting," "3D render," "cinematic lighting," or "watercolor sketch."

Composition: How is the scene arranged? Try "close-up portrait," "wide landscape shot," "top-down view," or "subject centered with blurred background."

Details: Colors, textures, mood, time of day. "Warm sunset light, misty atmosphere, detailed fur texture" adds specificity.

Common mistakes

Do not use negatives at first. Instead of saying what you do not want, describe what you do want. Too many conflicting styles confuse the model. Pick one direction.
