You generate a character for a story — the face is perfect, the hair is exactly right, the expression sells the moment. Then you generate the next panel and they're a different person. Same prompt, same seed, same model, different face. Character consistency is the hardest thing to get right with AI images, and most tricks people try don't actually work. Here's what does.

Why It Breaks

Every generation is a roll of the dice, and the model has no memory of who your character was in the last image.
